And Milton plays hard, but he's just fragile and gets hurt in just about any way possible. He tore his ACL arguing with an umpire. I don't think him playing at about 75% is really going to keep him healthy.

We can't and I've said that from the beginning, it's a coin flip. I'll take that gamble though. If he can't be healthy, hopefully Kosuke keeps this up. If we clinch a couple weeks early(I know you're laughing Butch, just throwing this scenario out there) like last year, I'd prefer we sit Bradley a good amount of that time.

Absolutely. Like I said, it's a gamble worth taking for me. It hasn't been working the way it was, take a chance this dude is healthy and smashes some bitches around. If not, same position we've been in for 100 years.

And let me clarify, even if he's healthy and hits, that doesn't mean we're going to win for sure obviously. Takes a lot more than one player, but he'd help the cause.

Obviously. But Bradley is alot more fragile. Anyone can have an injury--but someone like Bradley is far more prone to it than someone like Lee or Soriano or just about any position player.

It certainly wouldn't have hurt to have him. Aside from the few games like today where we got annihilated, several of the other games could've been won with just a timely hit or two with RISP.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean, <i>but</i> he sure is knocking in a lot more runs than Bradley is (so far) this year, and just hitting better all around. Dunn has definitely been more of a timely hitter than Bradley thus far, which is sad if you really think about it (since Dunn isn't known to be a timely hitter, as you pointed out). Let's just hope 'ol Milt gets it together soon....

Remove "walks" from the equation and it sounds a lot like Soriano.

All of Soriano's seven homers this year have either tied the score or given us the lead. I would say that is about completely opposite of what you would normally associate with Dunn. Soriano this year has been as clutch as anyone on our team.
