Same here. If I required realism from all of my favorite movies, then I wouldn't love film as much as I do. I also would never watch another horror or sci-fi film ever again.

Yeah, my comment wasn't really directed at either of you. My point is, movies like "2012" are good for what they are. i liked "Deep Impact" (both the theatrical and the porno releases), "The Day After Tomorrow", "Armeggedon", and "2012" but none of them would make my top 100 list. They're just entertainment value only. It's fun to wacth the world go up in smoke.
