You'd have to start kicking people out then. The steroid era, just like every other era in baseball needs to be compared against itself. The best players of the era deserve to be in there, I don't care if they took PEDs or not. Bonds, Sosa, Clemens, they all belong in the HOF.

That takes unfair advantage of any player that played clean in the same era.

Pete Rose and Jackson should be in the HOF also.

I have to agree with Ruby. The guys he listed were the best of their generation. Are the numbers tainted against other generations...sure, however, in their generation they were the best. Honestly, I am willing to bet that half the league was roiding or doing some kind of performance enhancing drugs in the late 90's.

They tested for performance enhancers, I was just saying roids for dramatic affect. If you want to argue semantics, I really don't care. You win. In the end he cheated, and like many others it broke my heart after I realized what I fool I was to believe otherwise.

Ace said it best. - "Many of my favorite Cubs memories involve Sammy. And they all feel tainted. Which sucks."
