2010 Minor League Roundup
Also, if Blake Parker could manage to get his walk totals down, I really think he would solidify t he bullpen. Hell, I think he's a better option than Berg right now who only has 1 strikeout on the year!

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

I might have missed it discussed already somewhere, but even though it's in a relief role, Aaron Shafer has been pretty much out of his head. 18 2/3rd IP, ZERO earned runs, only 14 baserunners, and a 19/2 K/BB ratio. That's pretty impressive.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

Yeah, clearly the Cubs were on to something moving him to the pen. Scarey and I had a chat in the thread a few pages back. He's becoming one of those rare low-level relievers who are TRUE prospects in the role.

I like that Starlin is batting over .350, but the 5 CS's are a little alarming.

Yeah, but I wonder if they are working on his basestealing by sending him frequently.

I think they are because he had a lot of SBs to start off the year. I was pretty excited because he was stealing at a good clip for a while there (3-3 to start the year in the first 4 games), I thought he had learned to read pitchers well.

What is quite encouraging though is Castro's IsoD in the last 10 games is .090. If he can keep that up I am extremely confident he will be a starting shortstop for years.

If McNutt ever makes it to the majors, can we call him Busta?

Why wait for him to make the majors?

That's gold. From now on, he's Busta McNutt.
