Borrowed the basics from CrimsonAce at ITI and corrected based on data from baseball-reference.com

It's hard to believe that our SP run support is that high, aside from Gorzelanny. If we truly are averaging between 4.5-5 runs per game, we should have way more than 5 wins. The outliers are probably skewing the averages.

3-3 when leading after 7. Pathetic.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

that says it all

So we are unclutch

To me, what says it all is that we've only score >4 runs 5 times this season. Hard to win too many games that way, regardless of what the pen does. The fact that the pen is terrible only makes an already bad situation worse.

Aside from one or two guys the bullpen has been terrible. However, not all the blame can go on the bullpen. Our offense is terrible right now, they wouldn't know what a clutch hit is if it bit them in the ass. I heard on the radio yesterday that A-Ram is 4th in the league in K's...he has never even been close to having that many K's, he usually makes really good contact. However, he is K'ing a lot and not coming through at all. I bet he has left 25+ runners on base this year already. Hopefully he starts hitting and the rest of our team starts hitting also. Until this offense starts scoring some runs we are in deep shit.

I guess we dont have to worry about ARam opting out of his contract.

I'm pretty sure Aramis will be fine. I'm not ready to write off his season after 13 games.

I agree, but it has been so frustrating these first two weeks because he is usually our most clutch hitter and I honestly don't remember one instance yet this year where he has actually come through for us.

i seem to remember a pretty clutch 3 run homer in the beginning of the year but other than that he's been pretty mediocre.

Still on pace for 37 HR 99 RBI...albeit a 211 K's...
