If we truly are averaging between 4.5-5 runs per game, we should have way more than 5 wins. The outliers are probably skewing the averages. Final Cubs Stat Breakdown - Destined - 04-20-2010 3-3 when leading after 7. Pathetic. Final Cubs Stat Breakdown - phan - 04-20-2010 Bullpen enters with lead: 4-4 Bullpen enters with game tied: 0-2 Bullpen enters with deficit: 1-2 that says it all Final Cubs Stat Breakdown - Coach - 04-20-2010 So we are unclutch Final Cubs Stat Breakdown - rok - 04-20-2010 To me, what says it all is that we've only score >4 runs 5 times this season. Hard to win too many games that way, regardless of what the pen does. The fact that the pen is terrible only makes an already bad situation worse. Final Cubs Stat Breakdown - Runnys - 04-20-2010 Aside from one or two guys the bullpen has been terrible. However, not all the blame can go on the bullpen. Our offense is terrible right now, they wouldn't know what a clutch hit is if it bit them in the ass. I heard on the radio yesterday that A-Ram is 4th in the league in K's...he has never even been close to having that many K's, he usually makes really good contact. However, he is K'ing a lot and not coming through at all. I bet he has left 25+ runners on base this year already. Hopefully he starts hitting and the rest of our team starts hitting also. Until this offense starts scoring some runs we are in deep shit. Final Cubs Stat Breakdown - Coach - 04-20-2010 I guess we dont have to worry about ARam opting out of his contract. Final Cubs Stat Breakdown - Butcher - 04-20-2010 I'm pretty sure Aramis will be fine. I'm not ready to write off his season after 13 games.
