It kinda bothers me that Halladay's name keeps coming up in the same breath as the Milwaukee Brewers. I know the Brewers supposedly don't want to give up either Gamel or Escobar, but I'm hearing the Bluejays still think they have enough decent prospects to get it done. Feels very Sabathia-ish to me.
I got nothin'.

worst franchise in baseball.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> I think the Pirates are smart not offer these guys big money. if they want to turn their organization around they'll have to do it by bringing in young talent. Guys like Wilson and Sanchez earn too much and could reasonably be replaced by someone earning much less than them.

One of the craziest games you will ever see going on right now in Oakland. The Twins were up 12-2 after the top of the 3rd, A's lead 14-13 right now going to the 8th. A's just scored 7 in the 7th. A Matt Holliday grand slam tied it, and Jack Cust homered after him. There's been 8 homers in the game.

Both Morneau and Holliday are on my fantasy team...7/9, 4 HRs, 8 R, 13 RBI.
The thing you need to remember is that all Cardinals fans and all White Sox fans are very bad people. It's a fact that has been scientifically proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Being a Cubs fan is the only path to rightousness and piousness. Cardinal and White Sox fans exist to be the dark, diabolical forces that oppose us. They are the yin to our yang, the Joker to our Batman, the demon to our angel, the insurgence to our freedom, the oil to our water, the club to our baby seal. Their happiness occurs only in direct conflict with everything that is pure and good in this world.

Ricciardi set a July 28th deadline to trade Halladay. He also said it's unlikely he'll be dealt.

Houston just tied it up in the bottom of the 9th with a Chris Coste RBI double off of Ryan Franklin.

Franklin has yet to record an out. Coste is on 3rd. IRod singled, Coste doubled and Keppinger just singled.

Houston won, sweeping St. Louis out of town. Good comeback for them. Knocks St. Lois down another notch. Hopefully the Astros won't stay too hot though.

This is quite the division race, and that was quite the game to watch, wow. Michael Bourn did everything he could to hand the Cardinals the win.
Cardinals Cubs: 1 GB Astros: 1 GB Brewers: 2 GB And the Cardinals now have more losses than the Cubs.

Can't believe what I just saw. Sold out Manny bobblehead night... bases loaded, 2-2 game, bases loaded, 1 out in the 6th. Manny pinch-hits, first pitch grand slam. Dodger Stadium is a circus right now.
