MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
Not sure of the source on that, just looks like some guy with a blog in San Diego. I don't see it anywhere else.

According to AOL Fanhouse, the Mets are exploring a trade for Indians' utilityman Mark DeRosa.
The Mets are dealing with injuries all around the infield and DeRosa could provide help at almost any position. He's batting .255/.322/.427 this season with six home runs and 26 RBI in 157 at-bats and is owed about $4.15 million. May. 21 - 11:42 am et<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Well, Fanhouse is quickly gaining credibility. They're getting everybody over there. They just broke this news of the Cowboys shopping Greg Ellis for example.

So yeah, considering how many teams suddenly need a guy like DeRosa, how nice would it be to have him to trade right now?

Well, or, you know, use at third.

Yeah, but they booted their very best writer - probably the best writer on the 'net as far as I'm concerned - Brian Cook, of MGoBlog. So they suck.

It seems that no-hitter Nolasco lost in like the 3rd inning on opening day has gone to his head! He's allowed 8 earned in 2 innings at home against Tampa Bay today, raising his ERA to 9.07. He has nothing this year. I'm shocked he isn't on the DL.

The Padres will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the club's first World Series appearance on Saturday, with members of the 1984 team that beat the Cubs in the National League Championship Series.

What I said is not inconsistent with that thinking.

Votto is in the lineup for the first time since May 16th. He's 2 for 2 with 2 HR and 4 RBI. He hit his second HR (3-Run homer) against David Huff to put the Reds up 6-4 against the Injuns.

Motherfuck, I'd be more pissed that a guy from another team could just come back from an ear infection like it was nothing if he wasn't on my fantasy team.
