MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
The Brewers are 2-6. This makes me happy.

Funny, cuz I stopped watching the Cards game after the top of the 4th.

Yeah. And now Qualls just loaded the bases with Rasmus up and Pujols on deck.

Yeah, oops. No-balls Qualls.

Rasmus singles. One run scores. Bases still loaded and Pujols is up.

Pujols singles. Tie game. Bases still loaded and still only 1 out. Unfuckingreal.

Qualls got out of it, but gave up two runs on a bunch of shitty little singles and a walk. Man, I hate the Cardinals. 6-6, going into the bottom of the 9th.

Drew triples with one out. Intentional walk to Tracy.

Execute here and the game's over...

The D-Backs blow. I'm going to bed.

Eric Byrnes with a walk-off HR in the 10th. D-Cacks win.

Whew, nice to see the Cardinals go down in flames.

Yeah I see that this morning.

Gameday had it listed as a walk off 3 run HR when it happened, weird.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Cardinals manager Tony La Russa said Tuesday night that it looks like Chris Carpenter is "going to be out for a while" with a left rib cage strain.
Carpenter will head to St. Louis Thursday for further assessment by team doctors. It appears he's headed for the disabled list.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Sad....
