MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
Atlanta seemed to really want to get rid of Delgado.

Our long national nightmare is over.

The fake-to-third, throw-to-first play is now a balk.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

So the Dodgers new TV deal will net them not only $7bil but their own shiny new cable channel, SportsNet LA, via TWC. I just hope the Cubs can get similar terms and their own network soon before the $$$ dries up.

Yeah, I have a feeling the Cubs are going to be too late to this party. Right now the timing of expiring contracts sucks (meaning CSN).

Just like how we finally get a front office that understands that over spending on draft picks is the way to improve the talent of the organization and MLB changes the rules to prevent that from happening.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

So, some dude named Bosch gave a bunch of people PEDs.
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

Damn, the world now has one less guy that ARod can get his PEDs from without the media pointing it out.

Well, one of the people implicated is Jimmy Goins, University of Miami baseball's assistant strength and conditioning coach since 2004.

Take a wild guess where Braun went to college?
