They're incredibly streaky though. Before this current tear they lost like four or five series' in a row and earlier in the year they had quite a losing streak. Sale seems legit.

Yeah, plus the Red Sox played sloppy baseball and still took 2 of 3. That's quite encouraging.

I keep waiting for Peavy's arm to fall off. I'm not sure how he managed to stay healthy this late into the season.

Tigers just took 3 out of 4 from the Angels and are 8-2 in their last 10.



Tomorrow night should be interesting: Verlander vs. Peavy.

With the WC, what happens if 2 or more teams are tied for the final WC spot? Do they play a 1-game playoff, then a 1-game WC game?
