I know the point of this video is to make me like Z more, but it still works.

Seems like the exact same Z as I remember. He's 4-7 with a 4.20 era and a ERA+ of 99. Although the Marlin's aren't paying him, he's still getting paid $18M this season to be essentially a league average pitcher. I'll always have a soft spot for him, but no matter how they spin it, he's still Z on the downside of his career at age 31. It is interesting how media spin can dictate how a fanbase feels about a player.
I got nothin'.

I meant on a personal side. I mean, I've seen him pitch enough to know what he is on the mound.

He pitched like an all star through May, but has been crap since. He'll probably finish strong and end up with decent numbers. This has been Z's template for the past 4+ seasons. I still don't have a problem with him though.

I loved him as a Cub and I always will. As a Marlin, I have no use for him.

Votto to miss 3-4 weeks to have knee arthroscopic surgery.

Can't see the Reds weak offense produce with Cairo at first rather than the league MVP.

The NL Central race looks tougher and maybe the Pirates have a true chance.

Good. I've been looking for a reason to start hating the Pirates.

Starting to get a little uncomfortable with the way the Sox keep winning. The last I want to see is a deep run into the post-season for them. God forbid another trip to the WS.
I just want to drink beer and play atari

I don't envision they will get that far, but the way they handled the Rangers and others thus far has me concerned. Plus KW always makes a deadline deal, so all bets are off. Then again, they have a very young bullpen and the SP is injury prone, so I'm hopeful for an entertaining collapse.

Hopefully Garza and Barney can go to Detroit and light it up.

Sox will do fine until August and then watch out as they fall off the cliff as starters continue to go to DL, bullpen blows and finally the HRs stop coming in droves as it cools off.

Hi,

I suspect the biggest fear of the sox is that they will be embarrassed when other Central Division teams actually spend money at the trading deadline and try to win.

I certainly hope the Tigers make a push.
