MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
Link is blocked for me, but I'm definitely not going to cry over the Dodgers having an issue with one of their stud arms.

I know its early but Harper has similar numbers to Heyward early on, with an even worse avg.

Man, I'm glad the Cubs didn't sign that guy.

Obviously Id still take him over Heyward

Tommy La Stella hit his 11th home run for the Angels today.

He's slashing .301/.388/.998.

He's all the Cubs could afford

I doubt we would see the same results had he remained a Cub, but good for him.

Im guessing they couldve brought LaStella back for the same or less than Descalso.

Braun, Shaw, Thames, Aguilar, Yelich... definitely all natural
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

Now, Tommy goes on that list?

Ah, TLS is off to a decent start and all of a sudden we are wishing we'd held on to him.

That *is* how things work. That, or we'd hung onto him and now wished he was playing video games in his mom's basement in New Jersey.

I always expected him to unlock that 50 HR power, just wish the Cubs did.

I'm pretty sure Butch is so anti-Descalso because he used to be a Cardinal.  Remember, he never really warmed up to Derrek Lee.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

I'm looking forward to a Willson for Yadi trade.
