MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
Quote:Yeah, I would prefer the FO makes any hard decisions sooner rather than later. Worst case scenario is the team is stuck around .500 by late July with little momentum.

That said, regardless of how this season turns out the pitching staff is old and expensive. It needs to be rebuilt almost from top to bottom. Not sure if that's even possible at this point.

This, and the fact that our youngest arms in the rotation (Hendricks and Quintana) are fairly inconsistent (since last year at least). They can dominate a game for sure, but they have their share of duds between those flashes of brilliance.

There is no chance Yelich isnt on the juice.

Last year it was just God telling him to make a comeback attempt - this time Z really means it

Of his 9 HR this season 8 have been against the Cardinals, and 1 against the Cubs. Maybe the Cards go headhunting soon? It's the Cardinal Way...

“He owns the St. Louis Cardinals.”

That extra hour of BP sure worked out for Yeli. There’s no way they pitch to him today, which is tough when Cain gets on base pretty much always. #thisismycrew #brewers

Sure love those Brewers fans that you never even knew liked baseball until last year.  Yeli.

Urias handling the Brewers early.

I had forgotten that Urias even existed until last week. Glad he remembered how to pitch just in time for the Brewers series.

Yelich with another homer. His swing looks pretty effortless. Good news is Brewers lose.

He's juicing. There's no doubt in my mind.

He probably shared a water bottle with Braun once.

Or a needle or five.

His past 2 starts have not been great, and believe his velocity was down as well. Didn't he already have TJS in the minors or am I thinking of someone else?
