ESPN’s Olney with some common sense recommendations on how to get 2020 season underway. He reviews some mistakes by owners and unions which developed the current lack of trust environment for MLB
His main points are: compromise and get the season underway quickly, learn from previous CBAs, and build bridges to develop the new CBA.
Yeah, right - best to expect logical behavior during emotional charged times. Agree with his suggestions but both parties have demonstrated that we shouldn’t expect the parties in dispute to act entirely rational.
Still guessing/hoping that there will be MLB in 2020 but not expect resolution anytime soon but will still be checking on MLB news a couple times a day in hopes for the MLB
