That's kind of what I'm wondering. Why wouldn't they?

A. How much are you going to pay your lawyers vs. how much can you expect to recover (I don't know enough about this area of law to know how viable it is to go after the publishing company).
B. How much do you want to get in the mud with this guy?
</blockquote>
Presumably, that's a question for Jeter and Posada.</blockquote>
I was going to go there, but didn't. I'm glad you did.

On point A: The article says the book is self published, so they would just be suing him right?
On point B: If it didn't happen how much mud could be slung really?
</blockquote>
On A, I didn't see that, so yes. You'd be going after a guy with presumably no money.
On B, if the guy is making up this stuff who knows what he would do in a lawsuit.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

Ruben Amaro has officially been fired by the Phillies. Hopefully this doesn't affect the team in any good way this weekend.

Cardinals and Garcia was humiliated by the Reds 11-zip and the Pirates lost in extras against the Brewers. Even though it was a washout for us, today was a good day.

MLB announced Saturday morning that Cardinals catcher Cody Stanley has been suspended 80 games for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance. The drug? Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone. You can bet I copy and pasted that one.
Stanley, 26, has appeared in nine games with the Cardinals this season and was recently included among their September call-ups. His season is now over. The Cardinals have called up catcher Ed Easley to take his place on the active roster.
This isn’t Stanley’s first run-in with performance-enhancing drugs. He was previously suspended 50 games as a minor leaguer in 2012 after testing positive for Methlhexaneamine and Tamoxifen.
Who?

Never heard of him. But he probably would have hit 12 home runs before the end of the season. Probably still will, actually.
