He seemed like a bit of a douche to me.

Looking at his timeline, I'm fairly sure that that dude was trying to be funny with the Chris Carpenter crack. The bigger derp, I think, is that the OP calls Hosmer a power hitter. Since the start of the 2014 season, Carpenter has hit more HRs (66) than Moustakas (59) and Hosmer (57). There's an argument for Moustakas, who surely would have outhomered Carpeneter had he stayed healthy during that time, but still.
On top of that, that dude's fever dream has the Royals taking on Carpenter when he's at his nadir (.209/.341/.396), 31.5 years old, with two more years on his contract. Hosmer and Moustakas are good trade pieces who will be free agents next year, and KC will look for promising youth. Yeah, the OP is the real doofus here, but he is a Yadier Molina nut, so . . .

Of course using that same logic, the large scale destruction of the city of St Louis might have occurred days ago and I could be oblivious to the news until the Cub games in St Louis were rescheduled. .

Sounds like the Cards are in turmoil...and who doesn't love that?

Loria may not get a billion for the Marlins. And they say aging, rich, silly, white men don't face discrimination!

The Crew lose in extras. That's a bullpen that sucks balls. Hopefully the cubs can take advantage with a W.

It's sort of remarkable how similar the NL West seems to the NL Central in 2015 when the Cubs finished with a 13 game lead for the WC2 spot.
The Cubs are the first team out of the WC at the moment, and yet the Dodgers have a 9 game lead over them for the WC2 (for comparison, the A's have the worst record in the AL and are 4.5 out of the WC2). Of course, none of the NL Central teams won the pennant in 2015.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.
