MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
I'm of the frame of mind that the more you try not to get injured, the more you actually do get injured.  It's like driving too carefully.

Mets sign Tebow; Jesus comes to Binghamton.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

Baseball is still his first love, after Jesus, football and being a media whore, of course.

Isn't his first love - being a media whore - the primary reason for he's returning to baseball?

Rich Hill is perfect through 6.

Woooooow. They took Hill out with a perfect game through 7. His pitch count wasn't even 90 yet. Hill is pissed.

He should be. His career is about to end when the Cubs suck the soul out of his asshole this postseason.

If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

Don't look now, but the Mets have leapfrogged the Cardinals for the second Wild Card spot.
