You left off what they've done since the 29th. Very impressive road sweep....kicked the shit out of the Bo-Sox.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You mean...those three games they just played?

Sure, it's impressive to sweep the Red Sox at Fenway, but beyond that, they're still struggling. They win their next three games and they're starting to roll.

I turned on ESPN last night and the end of the Cardinals/Giants game was on. Against all of my better instincts, I found myself rooting for the Cardinals. How have the Giants become my least-favorite team in baseball?

I could barely make it through the ESPN announcers sucking Cardinals fans' cocks all night, and I had to quit watching when Douche Wilson came into the game. Yet, I still probably could never find myself cheering for the Great Red Scourge.

You had already mentioned those games. I gave the results of the previous seven, as looking at the last ten games of any team is typically used as an indicator of recent trends.

Huh? Why?

With the exception of Wilson, I don't think I overly dislike anyone on that team.

What do you guys think of Sabien calling out Cousins for hitting Posey? I think it was a clean play, just a freak accident sort of thing. No need to brow beat the kid who obviously feels bad about it.
Reply
I disagree. The play was not clean in my eyes. Sabean has every right to be pissed right now.

And I sort of agree with everyone else. Now that Uribe is gone, the Giants don't bother me aside from El Beardo.

I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Ah NVM for some reason I could have swore he was still on the Giants. Ugh I can't stand him.

Cody Ross is kind of a douche. I know Bonds isn't on the team anymore, but he's left a taint on the team (and the sport in general), in my eyes.

My reasons for disliking the Giants are weird and complicated and go beyond the dislike of any particular players. I hate that they won the World Series with a lineup that barely qualified as AAA. I know -- their pitching was ridiculous, but that doesn't make me feel better about it.

It's funny how fans develop certain likes and dislikes about players. I'm not a big Cody Ross fan, but there have been quite a few articles about him since last October, and they almost always peg him as a pleasant, humble fellow.

I kind of like the Giants, but it's almost totally based on Lincecum and Matt Cain. Cain, because he's the most ridiculous example of a "bad-luck pitcher" in the past decade or so, and Lincecum because of Leonard Sipes, who gave us a heads-up on him from Day One.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
