Or the umpires could know the rules for the stadium they're playing in and make the correct call in the first place. Though I tend to think stadium specific rules are ridiculous. If the ball doesn't bounce over the wall or become unplayable, then it should just continue on. Why does their 2nd tier video board have a set of rules placed on it?
I got nothin'.

The ending of that cards game was absolute bullshit.
How fucking stupid is Bryan Price?

I thought his explanation was spot on. He had no idea it was supposed to be reviewable. He didn't see it. The 4 umpires with a much better view missed it. They weren't sitting in the Reds dugout trying to decide if they should review it or not. They thought the game was over. It was only after their video people alerted them that they should take a look that they even contemplated talking to the umps.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

How is it to the Cardinals' advantage to announce they won't renew Holliday's option when they are alive for the playoffs and would want him on the roster if he can play?
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

Makes about as much sense as the White Sox announcing they have have decided to retain Ventura.........but only if he still wants the job. What a scoop.

And the Dodgers have Rich Hill going, so I'm sticking with my prediction.
