5.1 IP - 5 K, 2 Saves, 1 hit, 4 BB.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Cotts was also much better than him the last 2 seasons though.

So, what's the ETA on Cotts being DFA'd?

It's hard to believe that Cotts walked that guy tonight. He certainly knew that a BB would cause Lou's head to explode; it would also likely lead to a demotion to the bush leagues.

Is he not all there mentally?
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

I'd think he's losing his confidence a bit. He looked like he was aiming the ball tonight instead of just throwing, as it's clearly in his head. Last year he walked 13 in 35.2 innings pitched. He's walked 5 in 3 innings already this year.

Losing his confidence a bit? He's borderline Ankieling on us.

Bottom line is even at his best as a Cub, he was a mediocre reliever. At his worst, he's a complete liability. I don't care why or what it is, but I don't want him back on the field.

He's been ass since 2006. I don't think people are looking at his stats closely enough. There's a reason why the Sox bailed on him even after he was a huge part of their WS. He's an uncoachable twit. Judging from Lou's facial expressions and the chatter in the dugout after Cotts was removed, I'd be shocked if we ever see him again.

Yeah and the league is hitting .385 against him (lefties hitting .500), which is sort of shocking considering that he's walking most hitters.
