thanks for these updates Mikey. I appreciate it.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

No. Castro only hit 3 over the course of the year so don't expect him to do much home run hitting unless he fills out. Vitters seems to be streaky in terms of his home runs. He went on an unbelieveable tear in June and was so-so the rest of the year. He still puts the bat on the ball though when he's not hitting them over the fence.

Jim Callis had a chat recently and took a bunch of questions regarding players in the AFL.
http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/chat/_/id/...with-jim-callis <!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Ken (Mass) how does Starlin Castro's power project for the future? 3 HR in 469 AB and he's skinny, does he project to fill out more ? I know, it's early, he's young etc... Jim Callis (2:45 PM) He's just 19 and still growing. The Cubs antcipate him being 6-foot-3 and 195-200 pounds. He'll have some strength and he knows how to hit, so I anticipate average power.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> <!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Rick (Oakland) Cubs' Tim Wilken or the average major league scouting director? Jim Callis (2:50 PM) Wilken vs. the average? Wilken, easily.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Also of note, according to Bruce Levine, Castro hurt his hand sliding into third base yesterday. He was unable to participate in baseball activities today because of a jammed finger. It's not supposed to be anything serious and he's expected to play maybe tomorrow.
I can't find a link to this.
