He didn't want to waste all of his good pitches in Iowa.

I wish Shark would just go away for good.

He actually has good stuff. What the hell is wrong with him?
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Probably nothing. It just takes time. He's got the goods, and he's got the mental makeup. He just needs polish.

I say make or break year for Shark next year. The only way I see him succeeding next year is as a middle reliever who has a lot of success early in the year and takes on a bigger role later in the season much like Angel Guzman this year. I just can't see him having a good year as a starter with one good pitch plus his other mediocre pitches. Even his splitter seems to have regressed.

I'm sure they left him in Iowa for the pennant race. He'll get called up once their season ends.

Hak-Ju Lee and Starlin Castro are both SS, correct? It's a shame that Lee is so error-prone: I had heard that he was a plus fielder, but I guess that observation was based entirely on his arm (which is supposed to be a Dunston-like cannon).

The reports is that he is an above average fielder with the potential to be excellent. He has a cannon arm with great range. Just needs some work on the finer details on fielding such as footwork.
