I think that Jake Fox has proven that he's not a AAAA player. I just wish there was a spot on the field for him.
BTW, I've never really bought into the concept that "AAAA players" exist. But after watching Pie, Cedeno and others absolutely <i>kill</i> in AAA, and absolutely suck in MLB (and after repeated chances), I'm willing to change my views.

Nice to see Dae-Eun Rhee in a box score once again. If he gets back and healthy, the Cubs have 4 potential mid to top rotation starters in Cashner, Jackson, Carpenter, and Rhee. I'm hoping Archer can show me he belongs in that list as well.

Archer has gone almost 100 innings without allowing a homer, has a 2:1 k:bb ratio, and is holding opposing batters to about a .200 average. I don't know how much more he can do.

His 5.5 BB/9 is very concerning to me and that's just from this year which is a huge improvement from years past. But yeah, I guess he should be on that list. The fact that he allows so many walks and still has a 1.32 WHIP and 2.78 ERA is very impressive. The 10 K/9 is quite nice too.

Shrug. He's a three-year starter in college, he's 23, and he's in A ball with an OPS under .800. I'm not saying he's not still a prospect, but he's been top five on peoples' lists all season. I don't see it.

It's nice to see Vitters name again. It's also nice to see that he's hitting. Kyler Burke is turning into a moderate prospect again. Bibens-Dirkx has been extrememly effective since being picked up from the Indy Leagues. His K numbers are nothing special but he pitches deep into games and is getting outs.

As I said, he ran into some bad luck early in the season but has really turned it on to get up near 800 in OPS. His 18 HRs are a nice touch from a middle infielder.

Plus, I dont know of many people who have him in their top 5, as he is more of a second 5 guy (6-10.)
