Used to be a defensive specialist 3rd baseman. This is his first year pitching and that may be his first outing away from XST.

Brett Jackson is crushing the ball at Peoria. It's nice to see one of our top picks have some immediate success.

Be careful: Tyler Colvin was the MVP of the Northwest League in his first year.

It might be small, but there is a difference between Boise and Peoria. And everytime I see Brett Jackson's name I think of this scene in Pulp Fiction. So that alone immediately makes him awesome. One of my favorite movie scenes in all of history.

All KIDding aside, Burke is actually looking like he might be worth something. He's barely older than Jackson, and an .882 OPS isn't too bad. He's not a full fledged stud by any means, but he has had a pretty good year. I am now officially cautiously optimistic about him and Huseby. Cashner has also been impressive.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

You'd think they pull Burke up to Daytona and get him a taste of High A ball before the season is over. But maybe they are afraid it will work out the same way as Vitters. BTW, is Vitters still hurt?
