Vitters and Harrison both went deep tonight. Anyone know anything about Harrison, he is putting up huge numbers.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

He was highly touted in the draft last year. The guy is supposed to be great with the bat and brutal with the glove. Looks like the Cubs are doing everything they can to keep him at 2nd base. He's someone to keep an eye on.

That seems to be theme with all of our good prospects.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

I wonder if he got too much inside of his own head in Spring Training, with the outside chance of making the Cubs.

I'd like to see Maestri up here by September. Not sure if that's realistic or not.

Since this is his first year above Boise I would have to think that he would not get promoted until at least half way through the year. My question though.....if he continues to hit like he is, would they try and have him skip Daytona and go straight to AA?

I would think not especially considering they have Marquez Smith at AA right now who is pounding the ball. Maybe if Smith got a AAA promotion, but that would be highly unlikely.

I wouldn't move Vitters out of A-ball this year. Let him continue to build some confidence and put a nice full season together.
