This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena. [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

That's a good outing for Shark. Sky Sox Stadium in Colorado Springs is ridiculous, I've been there many times. It's pretty much like if you allowed hitters to have aluminum bats at Coors Field, the ball just flies out of there. Iowa scoring 50 runs in 3 games there says it all.

Jake Fox is going to make Soto's 2007 season just seem like a decent year...HOLY SHIT is he murdering the ball. When does the drug test come back on him?
Reply
Vitters might have a bit of Milton Bradley in him, because that is the second time he has been ejected this year.

I wonder if any other teams are noticing how Fox is pounding the ball, and are suggesting trade ideas?
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

I don't see the Cubs ever having a spot open for Fox on their team. I wonder if we could make a trade straight up for a third baseman in the AL to fill in for Rammy while he is out. Melvin Mora?

I like the idea, but I think Mora might be done.

From a chat from the guy from Baseball America:
QUOTE Mike: (Chicago, IL):: So besides Josh Vitters, is there anybody in the cubs system that I should get excited about, such as a Chris Carpenter or Dan McDaniel?

Ben Badler: RHP Jay Jackson, their ninth-round pick from last year who's already in Double-A. He got off to a so-so start, but at this time last year the guy was a two-way player at Furman. His last start was outstanding, his peripherals are solid and the stuff, especially his fastball and slider, are legitimate weapons.

I read that it was a close play at home, Vitters was called out and he got up and slammed his helmet down. The ump then kicked him out right after that.

No one's gonna trade anything of any value for Fox. The Cubs can certainly find someone to take him off their hands, but they're not gonna get any kind of difference maker back in return.

Lee's the one the Cubs should try and dump. Right, rubes?

I'm willing to ditch Lee, I like the idea of getting Hoffpauir and Fox some PT, I just don't think 1B should be manned by Hoffpauir and Fox. I'd like to see a new primary 1B and a bench with Hoffpauir and Fox on it.
