He clearly was not right yesterday. He shouldn't have played and should be on the DL.

Cubs should have never went after him. Too sensitive for Chicago fans. It looks good on paper but not in reality. Fans are world series crazy and with a good team the expectations for each game magnified. Let's just hope that Hoff can play a solid RF for a long stretch.

Yeah, I'm going to wait until he plays a few weeks before I dismiss him for Hoff.

IF he plays he is better. I just think he will be very fragile. If he was hitting .400 and a few dingers his injuries wouldn't bother him near as much.

Groin injuries usually take awhile to heal. When he gets healthy, he is going to hit. Unless you think his 23 at bats this season are more representative to how he'll play this season.

Baron - I agree with you that you can't evaluate him on 23 ABs. I'd look at his career #s. .278/.369/.455 Nice...but is it 3/30mm (assuming 75 games in 2010) nice given what other FA OFs had to settle for this offseason? I don't know...
I hope fans stay off his case when he gets back. He seems to be the type that really doesn't handle the negativity very well.

According to everything said by former teammates, Bradley isn't the kind of guy to stop trying if he is struggling or he feels disrespected; he's going to try even hard to prove everyone wrong. He's known as one of the most competitive players in the entire sport, so I'm not worried about him laying down and faking injuries because of the slow start.
The booing does concern me though because I could see him feeling alienated (which he could take as a sign of disrespect) and lose it with the fans. That would be bad.
The thing you need to remember is that all Cardinals fans and all White Sox fans are very bad people. It's a fact that has been scientifically proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Being a Cubs fan is the only path to rightousness and piousness. Cardinal and White Sox fans exist to be the dark, diabolical forces that oppose us. They are the yin to our yang, the Joker to our Batman, the demon to our angel, the insurgence to our freedom, the oil to our water, the club to our baby seal. Their happiness occurs only in direct conflict with everything that is pure and good in this world.

Bradley should drop his appeal and serve the suspension...then we should put him on the DL. I honestly don't care if he isn't back before June, I want him 100%. He is going to produce, but he is useless to us the way he was yesterday.

Bingo. Ask the Dodgers fans how that can turn out.

The only thing I'm booing is his prideful stupid fucking ass for not just taking the suspension while he's sitting the damn bench anyway.
