Gonzalez has driven in all of their runs in this series right? Just put his ass on base. Make Chase Headley and company beat you.

I feel like someone else drove in a run or two in last night, but I could be wrong.

Gerut hit a run scoring single last night. But I think everything else has been Adrian G.

It's nice and all, and he was the difference in last night's game, but is anyone else worried about him getting into some bad habits and trying to swing for the fences in every AB? He was in a pretty bad slump coming into this series and it seemed his only hits lately have been of the longball variety.
I just hope he doesn't think he's developing ARod-type power at SS, and completely forgets how valuable he was for us as a singles/doubles hitter.
The one upside to this is that with all these HRs, he hasn't had as many opportunitied to make many boneheaded baserunning blunders.

Early in the game, with no one on...you need to have confidence in your offense. Make him beat you...especially when your pitcher has a shutout.

The Padres have scored 7 runs in this series so far. 6 of them are due to Adrian Gonzalez homers. Nobody else in this lineup can hit for shit.
Do the math. Don't give him shit to hit.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a guy like Gonzalez playing 1B at Wrigley for 81 games.

Brewers just won again. Hoffman gets the benefit of more 4"-outside strikes than any pitcher I've seen since Maddux.
I got nothin'.

If he played his home games anywhere else, he'd hit 45+ homers. He has 11 in 77 away at bats this year.
