We'll see about that. Zambrano isn't one to always speak the truth. Still, he'll be 32 or 33, who knows what he is then anyway. Hadn't he also talked about going to the White Sox and/or Cardinals as well? I'd much rather he retire than do that. Z loves playing though, more than anybody on our team, and more than maybe anybody in the league. If he doesn't have a title by then, I'd expect him to keep pitching.
It's not worth worrying about now.

Eh, I think Z is just fucking around with the media. I highly doubt he has made up his mind what he wants to do in 5 years, and a lot of things could happen between now and then.

I read those comments last night. I don't believe a single word of it. If Z feels that he could have won a championship here and it doesn't happen, I'm pretty confident that he'll try to go somewhere else and win one.

I thought his comments were refreshing, and sincere. It might not actually play out like that, but I have no doubt that he meant it, and that it was one of the most mature things he's ever said.
