And us eating how much of his contract?? No way anyone trades for Soriano without the Cubs eating a significant portion of his contract. Plus he's at his lowest trade level, so we'd be lucky to get a player of that caliber for him.

Agreed. It won't happen, but that would be a very tempting deal if we weren't going to be left completely financially strapped.
