<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->No reason for Soriano to be in the lineup. He's killing us.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Aren't the Giants looking for veteran bats?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I'd do Soriano for Cain or Sanchez in a heartbeat. Straight up.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
And us eating how much of his contract?? No way anyone trades for Soriano without the Cubs eating a significant portion of his contract. Plus he's at his lowest trade level, so we'd be lucky to get a player of that caliber for him.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well, somebody has to believe he has something left. I can't imagine us having to eat more than 1/3 of the deal. Not saying it will ever happen, but crazier things have happened.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Agreed. It won't happen, but that would be a very tempting deal if we weren't going to be left completely financially strapped.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.
