As much as you want us to be, we in fact are not. Now go back to your meth lab and beat your sister.

I'm always happy when a game is on Comcast rather than WGN. That way I can get it in HD. But to put opening day on WCIU means I can't watch the game at all with the Cubs broadcasters. That's idiotic.

I bet the game is going to be on ESPN and that's why WCIU is the one showing it locally.

But the Home Opener will be on WGN just like it always is.

Yeah. I don't really get that either. Games on WGN have been going down for several years now. It really shouldn't be a surprise anymore. I can't lie though. If I didn't get Comcast I would be pissed too.

I don't get Comcast Sports, so I am bummed, but not surprised. I do subscribe to MLB.tv, but I prefer to watch games on regular TV so I don't have to hook my laptop up to my TV in order to get the game in HD.

How do you guys who don't live near Chicago (such as Coldneck) still get the Chicago version of Comcast Sports? I'm down in TN while my wife finishes up her degree and all we get is Comcast Sports South, which blows

Well I am only 3 hours south of Chicago so it is pretty much standard here still.

Well that fucking sucks that WGN will only have 58 Cubs games. Why don't WGN just get rid of the White Sox games and send them to WCIU instead. Maybe we can get 118 Cubs games on WGN then.

As far as watching Cubs games on Comcast Sports, when I use to have satellite TV, we could get Comcast Sports Chicago in Grand Rapids. But when the Cubs game would come on the game would be blacked out because I don't live in the Chicago market.

I get CSN Chicago(and all other regional sports networks) on DirecTV... but it's blacked out when the games come on. I still watch the pregame and postgame shows a lot.

Directv Extra Innings. Although I'm considering the Roku option this year. How much is MLB.TV?

I think it was $120 last season...they price it at $140 and throw a limited time discount which is sort of meaningless since as the season goes on they prorate the remainder.

I don't think they've posted 2010 purchasing info yet.
