I REALLY hope Dish adds MLB Network soon as I can't take ESPN any longer. They are a disgrace.

Schilling and Morgan on the same network? I can hardly contain my excitement.

Good luck with that. This page hasn't even been updated since 2007:

I don't get the uproar. Schilling isn't going to be allowed to spout his political views. He'll just talk about baseball; on that topic, he's one of the most informed and advanced thinkers I've ever read (for an athlete, talking about his own sport).

I'm looking forward to it.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

There's like a 0% chance of that happening. If you recall, in 2007 MLB signed a deal with DirecTV to be the exclusive provider of Extra Innings, which only ended up not happening because of threatened Congressional intervention. When they ended up working out a deal with most cable companies, it was based in large part on carriage of MLB Network, which I think is what Dish balked at.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

Adding Aaron Boone didn't do anything to help bolster the baseball talk.

I'm actually with Kabes on this one. I'm no fan of Schilling's politics, but I always thought he was a great interview as a baseball player. I think the idea of Schilling as an analyst makes real sense.

My biggest issue is that they've now added Nomar and Schilling as analysts, which means that the Red Sox bias is only going to get worse.

Bingo, and their bias toward the coasts continues. During the Spring ESPN barely made mention of the Cactus league because their two darling teams play in FLA.
