Jeff Beliveau was done rehabbing at XST so he was put at Daytona and someone had to get bumped. Seeing as he's only 20, only been in the country for a year and a half, and only been playing baseball for what.. three years?... I don't think it's a big deal.

Signed last year for a pretty decent bonus at 17 (or 18? I'm fuzzy on how people are reporting ages on these Korean/Taiwanese signings). He came over and pitched pretty well between Arizona Rookie league and Boise but didn't pitch too long because he went back to school in Korea. Some, including me, were worried that he wouldn't come back as there was not much insight into the circumstances of him leaving at the time. I haven't heard too much on his stuff, but he throws in the low 90s. I haven't heard too many scouts rave about him yet, but I am sure they will if he keeps up the great pitching.
Reply
Poking around at NSBB, it seems Jung got a $500k signing bonus. Also, he just turned 20 years old and according to Arizona Phill has a plus fastball and "advanced" curveball and changeup.
Reply
What the hell is going on with Raley? He has been either unhittable, or unable to get anyone out in alternating starts.

I've also seen somewhere that Jung has not touched 90 yet this year. Sorry can't remeber where I saw it.
