Just had a report about it on the pregame show. The batting tunnel looks pretty cool.

I don't really like the idea of adding a Toyota sign to left.

Any links to pictures of all this grand stuff?
Fat Bastard is an immensely obese, hardly able to walk (weighing a metric ton) gardener and henchman hailing from Scotland. His extreme size endows Fat Bastard with super-human strength as exhibited by his prowess in the Sumo ring from Goldmember. This makes him a formidable enemy for Austin Powers. Fat Bastard is noted for his foul temper, his frequent flatulence, his vulgar and revolting bad manners and his unusual eating habits, which include taste for Human infants (which he calls "the other other white meat") or anything that looks like a baby, e.g. small people. Fat Bastard has been a regular at Cub games since the early 80's when he tried several times (unsuccessfully) to eat the visiting San Diego Chicken.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->New Cubs owner Tom Ricketts joined WSCR's Mully and Hanley show this morning. Asked about payroll flexibility, Ricketts replied:
With respect to this season, there's still some flexibility in the payroll should there be something that comes up down the line that looks like a fit or a need.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I really wish they'd bring back Hebrew National hot dogs. No connection to Chicago, but damn good hot dogs. They are a very close second to Vienna.

A proper Vienna Beef Chicago dog at Wrigley would be so, so, so, so awesome.
Somebody make it happen.

Vienna isn't even the best hot dog made in Chicago...but it fucking IS Chicago.
Do they even make Dave Berg hot dogs any more?

I'd be hard pressed to find anything better than Vienna. David Berg, Scott Peterson, Hebrew National, Best Kosher are all fine wieners, but Vienna is still number one is my book.

I didn't think Berg was better. I was just curious to know if they still exist. When I come back to town I don't see their signage any more.
I love Vienna. To be honest, screw hot dogs...it's all about the Polish.
I've mentioned before that my favorite is Byron's on Irving Park. The used to operate the place that used to be on the triangle property where the team parks. Their Polish used to come from a small packing house on the south side called M&J. When M&J went under, they obtained the recipe and Vienna makes their Polish for them with it under contract. Still the best in my opinion...

Best's Kosher was always my favorite, followed by Hebrew National jumbos and then Vienna Beef. I recently tried Nathan's all beef skinless (so gay sounding) and thought they were pretty good.
I love Vienna Beef because they are Chicago, but I've never been overly impressed by them, they don't seem to have as much flavor as some others. Now a chicago dog in general though is a thing of beauty, and since you have so many other things going on there, Vienna Beef works great.
I'm a big fan of grilling up those mass produced hillshire farms brat or smoked sausage half ring things and putting half on a long bakery bun with all the fixings. Those make for some impressive dogs.
