Hot dogs from Sarah Lee?

That said, I'm appreciative of the rest of it. The scoreboard renovation sounds great to me.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well, Sara Lee is a local company, even though their Ballpark Franks and Kahn's brands suck.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

If I can't get Vienna inside Wrigley I'll eat something else. It's just kind of ridiculous to serve any other brand there. Sara Lee fucking sucks these days...it didn't use to be such a lousy brand.

Did anyone else ever do the Sara Lee tour as a school field trip as a kid?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

My dad is a retired food technologist, and worked for Sara Lee when we lived in Wilmette.

It was an awesome company in those days...they've changed a bit recently.

Feel free to lynch me and crucify me. But what is Vienna and what makes it Vienna? Is it a sausage? A brand? I'd google it, but I would like a genuine definition before I die in the next post.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

When in Vienna, be sure to accost strangers and shout, "G'day mate! Wanna throw a shrimp on the barbie?"
You'll be sure to score.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

My younger brother had a red hots stand set up at his wedding reception this past weekend so people could have something to snack on while waiting for the caterers to start serving. Pure heaven, although I could do without the neon relish.
I picture a pissed-off Amazon bitch; uncontrollable, disobedient, boldly resisting any kind of emotional shackles...angrily begging for more ejaculate. -KB

I can take or leave the neon stuff. When I make dogs at home though, I like to substitute normal relish with Giardiniera relish. It is heaven.

I hate to steer away from hot dogs, but one improvement I would like to see, is the end of the celebrity seventh inning stretch. I thought the Rickets family did a fine job. If a Rickets is there, they can do it. I don't really care who sings it, but having the guest in the booth can be a real drag. I don't mind a Cubs fan like Bill Murray, or even Bob Ueker, or Tommy Lasorda once a year, but I do not want to listen to some low level non Cubs fan knuckle head celeb. A guest conductor should be someone special, otherwise just have Len or Bob or Santo.
I like you guys a lot.

It would be an excellent idea for us tho have this conversation here because a.) it will be effective in instigating change and b.) we've never had it before.

I think you're idea is terrible, frankly...as I have no other means of finding out what John Cusack has opening this holiday season.

I never order the neon relish.

The thing about Vienna dogs is they're hard to fuck up. For me the make or break is how good are a place's fries. When I used to go to school in that neighborhood, there was a joint on Cornelia, I think, just west of Broadway that had the best fries ever...and an order was like a kid's brown paper lunch sack full of them. The Polish was fine there...sure. They won with fries.
