C'mon, Z. I'd like to see a hitless/walkless inning right here.

So this will probably be his final tuneup before his return to the rotation?

I'm not watching. What happened to Ramirez? Injury/ejection/in-game retirement ceremony?

PH 3 run HR. He didn't stay in the game.

That could have been a rough inning for Z. Hopefully, he can build on that. No damage done.

I'm not going to get my hopes up, but his sinker had some decent movement on it.

Yeah, I saw that but prior to that AB the CBS sports gameday didn't have him in the lineup or on the bench.

Hate to say it, because I have thrashed him some, but I am looking forward to tonight's start. It will be interesting to see against a very good team what this dude has. For the sake of the team, I hope he looks good and becomes somewhat attractive to potential suitors. Buuuuuuuuut, I am going to be surprised if he gets through 3 innings. I think he'll be so amped up he'll be a little wild and his pitch count will shoot up quickly. Then there will be some meatballs. I hope I am wrong...whatever the case, it should be quite interesting.

I love Z but I expect him to suck balls tonight and for the remainder of the year until he is given enough time to work himself back into a steady spot in the rotation.

As good as the Giants have been, it hasn't really been due to their offense. Z will probably look pretty mediocre, but I don't expect him to get knocked around. He'll probably walk too many batters and give up 3 runs in 5 innings. That's my prediction.

I expect him to throw a no hitter and break a bat off in Bumgarner's ass.
He looks worried.
