If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

Pretty much trash prospects actually. Canario grades overall a 50 and Killian a 40 prospect on a 20-80 scale according to MLB Pipeline. Ouch.

Maybe Kilian's performance in AA suggests that he's been underrated and the Cubs see something others don't, but oof.

I mean, in 100.2 IP in the minors between 2019 and this year (most in AA), Kilian has a 113/11 K/BB rate, so he is very intriguing.
A total 1.79 ERA and 1.32 GO/AO ratio. As I said, I'm intrigued.
