Is it just my perception, or have the Cubs had a really high number of games in which they've had an inning in which they score to either significantly close the gap or go ahead followed by an inning in which the opposition immediately scores?
It just feels like the game is either won by the Cubs in the first 3 innings, or we stick around until about the 6th or 7th, score a few runs in our half of the inning and immediately return the favor in the next half inning.
I have nothing to back this up, other than feeling like it happens all the time. I'm probably wrong.

I got nothin'.
