Cardinal's minor league player, Tyler Dunnington, quit because coaches and players were making homophobic comments about "killing gay people". Of course this didn't sit well with Tyler, considering he just happened to be a closet gay athlete.

 

I assume the players and coaches were joking, but still...what a bunch of ass hats. Way to ruin this kid's passion for the sport. God I hate that organization.

Why would you assume this? Based on the escalating rhetoric and violence of the last few years, I think it's pretty clear that hatred toward those who are different is very much alive today.
