Well, I mean, throwing away 13 million because you want preferential treatment for your son seems just as unlikely. I'm wondering if he's extra achy and breaky somewheres.

Not sure what you mean. I think we're on the same page. I'm saying it's lame that LaRoche felt he had to walk away from millions just because his kid couldn't come to work with him.

 

It's stupid to think that's a good idea. An occasional visit, fine. But 100% of the time, that's too much.

Kind of shocked on the amount of players coming forward and taking LaRoche's back on this stupid controversy. Rizzo being one of them.

 

Especially that it's slowly leaking that it was in fact the Sox players complaining to Kenny about it in the first place.

Chris Sale hung up Adam LaRoche and Drake LaRoche jersey's in the locker room. This keeps getting better and better.

 

There has to be more to this story that we're not hearing, right? I mean, thinking about his rationally, if your boss approaches you and says, "Look, bringing your kid to work everyday is becoming too much of a distraction for the organization. So if you can cut it back some, that would be great. By all means, bring him by once in awhile, he seems to get along with most of the players." Who in their right mind would respond to that by, "Fuck it! I quit. That's unacceptable.... and you can keep the $13 million you would have owed me. Drake! Pack up your assault rifle, we're out of here."

 

That makes zero sense. There has to be more to it.
