Rockies Opening Home Series after Opener
#1
Like Nico leading off

Suzuki with nice 400+ ft Homer to make it 2-0 in first

Jones will likely really be happy to leave Wrigley

Slipped on Nick’s RBI

This is fun.

Last year, it felt like they constantly had trouble taking advantage of shitty teams. Hope this trend continues.

Assad throwing 6 innings giving up 0 runs, 4 hits, 1 walk and 5 k really came through. He managed the game well and again allowed bullpen to rest up as today is a bullpen day.

Yeah, results are against the Rockies. Still as Jeffy pointed out, Cubs need to pile up the Ws against weak competition.

Suzuki has been quite good since late last season.

I wouldn't be caught dead in this weather. Enjoying the game from the comfort of my warm home.

So hopefully it's just Counsell still figuring out the bullpen, but thus far not too impressed by how he's managing the staff and overusing certain guys (ie Almonte and Cuas).
