It is beyond annoying that the entire offense has gone cold all of a sudden. Brewers pitching is solid, but this is ridiculous. Also, watched a couple of Seiya ABs from last night and he appears lost again. Hopefully it was just a bad night.

Ross fucked that game up so badly that it’s a miracle we won.

- why take out Merryweather for Leiter? Merryweather was dominating and only threw 15 pitches to get 4 outs.

- why in the fuck is Happ still hitting 3rd? Bunting with Hoerner to bring up Happ was a recipe for disaster. Caught a huge break with that Belli infield single.

- all’s well that ends well and we took the series! All that matters.

All too true.

The lineup construction really leaves a lot to be desired. Happ hitting 3rd makes zero sense. Yes, he had the big hit early today, but that's not a normal occurrence. Bellinger should be getting as many AB'a as possible, and having him stranded on deck has hurt us too many times.

I feel like almost every win has been in spite of Ross. He really is our weakest link, imo.

Anyway, great win regardless. I really hope the offense comes back to life now that MIL is in the rearview for the time being.

Nice day at the ballpark. Just a tad chilly and offense was at a premium, but it was great to see playoff-caliber baseball again.
