Sox @ Cubs - 3, 4 May
#1
Yawn

Rain is expected throughout the spring in Chicago but should slow enough for the evening game

Doubt if I’ve ever been less excited for the crosstown series

Sox are dealing with injuries and underperforming

Cubs aren’t very good but that’s performing to expectations for the season

Nico gets the Cubs on the board on a rainy, cold, windy evening

I tuned in for about 10 minutes and then decided to do something fun instead.

Series is over

Hendricks looked OK but Cubs bats seriously continue to suck

When starting pitching provides enough to win, bats just aren’t up to task

Bullpen continues to be team’s bright spot.

And I'm back to not paying any attention to the big league club.

Like an idiot, I tuned in last night. The inability to execute in key situations...ah, who gives a fuck. This team blows.

I've been checked out for over a week now.

Same. Maybe the last 2 weeks really.

I still want to get to Wrigley a few times this summer, but just cuz it's Wrigley and I want to soak in the experience. But I'm not going to waste my time watching them at home anymore.

I’ll be at Wrigley tomorrow afternoon

Hey, it’s my Friday thing.

Yup, they’re still going to suck.

If the Reds and Pirates weren’t in the same division, this club could lose 100 games this season

Guess not.

Didn't the Cubs and White Sox have the same record coming into this series? I had a feeling the Sox would sweep and it would re-energize them. It feels like this is always the case.
