Well they did just sign some shitty, journeyman Japanese reliever.

Watch, he'll win Cy Young or some shit.

Not for nothin'...but, you could simply have called him a shitty, journeyman reliever.

By feeling the need to classify him as Japanese, you've highlighted that as being a reason he might be shitty.

I found it inappropriate.

I wasn't talking about his heritage, professor. I was talking about the fact that he's from the Japanese leagues.

I find your explanitization quite dubious. For the sake of your community and society, I hope you'll look inside yourself, and purge any lingering bias you might be feeling toward those outside your own sphere.

Such as...fat people.

Texiera and Boras are now haggling with the various teams over approximately $5 million. ... on top of $180 MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS.

Look, I get that you've got a right to get as much as you can, but sweet fucking shit. You're talking about like 3%. Just decide where you want to go, and take the shitton of money.

What an absolute slap in the face for all of the Americans who are struggling during this recession.

Solid pick-up, in my opinion.

Yeah, they're the type of team that should be taking a chance on him. If he keeps sucking, it's not like they had better options anyway.

Great move.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

I'm not so sure. Isn't much of a catcher, but at least he can hit. Reminds me a lot of Dunn.

I like this move, especially for them. I mean he's arguably their best hitter. I think McLouth's for real(at least a solid hitter), but he faded big time in the 2nd half. Doumit's a switch-hitter that hits from both sides well, can play outfield, 1b, catcher, etc. He's not particularly well anywhere though like Rok alluded to, he's probably best served in the AL.

He's Craig Wilson 2.0, new and improved.
If he stays healthy, this will be a good investment for the Buccos.
