There's little debate as to who the best everyday player is, but there's a pretty good debate about who's MLB's best pitcher. This was my exact quote, dumbshit. Anyone with an iota of reading comprehension would deduce that I was comparing Halladay to Santana, in the running for the title of "MLB's best pitcher."
Then, later, I mention some young guys who have shown some flash; I even grouped them together, apart from Halladay/Santana.
Comparing Greinke to Hamels isn't a stretch: last year he was 13-10. Hamels was 14-10.
Hamels had the great post-season, but Greinke is coming off one of the most dominating months in recent baseball history.
So your original post made no sense; you were just trying to be a dick.
As usual, you succeeded.

If you think that your statement is 2 different streams of thought, then I don't know what to tell you. You talk about Halladay and Santana and then immediately talk about the other 3 and with proper punctuation, it could be one sentence. There's not 2 separate thoughts there, the way it's written.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You're telling him what he's thinking now? Come on Ruby, I know I read it as a Halladay/Santana comparison with an inclusion of some other up-and-coming pitchers. It's like you're purposely trying to deny the obvious.

I never said a word about what he was thinking, I just pointed out how it was written, it's written like it's a continuation.

Zimmerman's streak over it appears. He was intentionally walked with the base open in the 7th.

And looking at the box score, it looks like Travis Ishikawa was plunked for it, and had to leave the game

Brewers called up Mat Gamel. Going to be interesting to see what they do with him, because he's -awful- defensively. He'd easily be the worst defensive third baseman in baseball, and Braun, Hart, and Fielder play the other corners. He can rake though and they could use another left-handed bat in that lineup.

2-2 count, 2 outs, top of 13... and a balk, to score the lead run for the Tigers.

Haudricourt:
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Melvin did tell me that no trade has been made, so you can forget any talk that Bill Hall has been traded to make room for Gamel. It might be as simple as Gamel coming up to provide a better left-handed bat on the bench than Brad Nelson, who is 0-for-21, including 0-for-14 as a pinch-hitter.
Normally, you don't call up a top prospect to sit on the bench but the Brewers do have three interleague series on the road coming up, including next weekend in Minnesota. The DH will be used in those games and Gamel could fill that role.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Seems like a waste to me.
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Gamel has had fielding issues in the past and has eight errors but he made seven of those earlier in the season and reports have been that he has looked better of late in the field.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
He's made 7 errors "early in the season" (last month), has a career .881 fielding percentage in 4+ seasons in the minors, it's impossible to be all that much worse, but I highly doubt he's all of a sudden improved a lot at third base.

And the Twins tie it in the bottom half. I'm going to keep talking to myself.
