Why aren't the teams with home field advantage hosting the first 2 games of these series? Another brilliant playoff format change by Emperor Selig and his goons.

I think it's only this season that they are doing this. I don't know why though.



This was the old way they used to play the LCS. I remember the Cubs opening the '84 playoffs at home and then 3 in SD.

Yeah, my dad reminded me of that today. I couldn't remember why they had home field advantage despite our having the better record in '84. Very strange.
