MLB News & Notes (other than Cubs or Sox)
Cardinals need to start losing.

Hopefully the Cubs can start them on that trend this weekend.

It's not about the launch angle?  Yeah right.

Yelich has not been a proponent of launch angles but this season he's tripled his launch angle over last season.  While it's still low compared to remainder of league, it's still higher than previous seasons.

His home splits are crazy - "Yelich has hit 15 of his 16 home runs and totaled 32 of his 38 RBIs at Milwaukee’s Miller Park"  Hmm, must be the home cookin'.  Would love to conjecture that Brewer's just might be stealing signals and relaying them only to Yelich which makes no sense but hell so does hitting 94% of HRs in your home park.

It's definitely strange.

The Brewers have also played 24 of their first 39 games at home, so will be interesting to see his home/road splits evolve over the season.

Can't stay on that pace--by end of year it has to even out a bit.

But man, I wish he was on another team.

I never thought I'd hate another team as much as the Cards. The only thing I can say for them is their fans can't be the slime that are the fans of St. Louis.

62% of Brewer games played have been at home and 94% of Yelich’s HRs have been home.

Only 1 HR in 15 away games is the more dramatic stat.

I know its early but Harper has similar numbers to Heyward early on, with an even worse avg.
