This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

I think the AL lineup is better overall, but the NL has much more power throughout.

If the FO would have made the move, I have every confidence that they wouldn't have given up what AZ did. Which is probably why they didn't. ATL's asking price was sky high.

I seem to recall that Atlanta, according to sources, wanted a package built around Soler and Baez/Russell. Some Cubs fans, inexplicably, seemed to think that was a fair starting point.

From MLBTR:

Former Cardinals scouting director Chris Correa has been sentenced to 46 months in prison for his role in the illegal breach of the Astros proprietary computer network, reports David Barron of the Houston Chronicle. Via the Associated Press and KSDK News, Correa has also been $279K in restitution. Correa had plead guilty to five counts of unauthorized access to a private computer, each of which carried a maximum potential sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

What's the punishment for the Cardinal organization? The organization, not the individual, stood to benefit the most from his actions so ..

The whole roster goes to prison? *fingers crossed*

Busch Stadium is burned to the ground, the team moved to Anchorage, and members of the Astros get to take free trips up in the Arch whenever they are in St. Louis.
